Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan has been backed by the two big Jamat parties of the countries, Jamiat Ulma-e-IslamFazl (JUI-F) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) to blocking the NATO supplies in the PTI governing province, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
Fazl-ur-Rehman, the JUI-F chief has called upon for all parties’ conference. Complying with his support to PTI chief he said that he would support him in his decision in the regard. However, in relation to the Nato supply, the JUI-F will move a resolution in KPK assembly, said the JUI-F chief.
Fazl expressing concern over the death of the Taliban leader Hakimullah said that the drone attack in the wake of holding peace talks with the Taliban have contributed to a tensed situation. He said that despite our efforts to maintain peace, instability is seen in the country. Hence, there is dire need of crafting national strategy.
JUI-F leader complained that earlier he had demanded of the joint efforts for the NATO supply blockage. But, PTI had opposed their plea, rather demanded their sole move in the regard.
Imran Khan has announced that if US does not stop drones attacks and if federal government does not block the NATO supplies through Pakistan until November 20, then the PTI will block NATO supplies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
On the other hand, JI chief Munawar Hassan while talking to media said that he supports Imran Khan in his notion but like Fazl he also demanded the coalition of all the parties towards the motive.
Munawar said that attempt to block the drone attacks should be imperatively and sternly made, in order to get rid of the menace forever from the country. He further called the drone attack that resulted in the death of Hakimullah an attack to the table talks aimed to bring peace. He called Hakimullah a martyr and said that the Taliban should enter into peace talks with the government, thereby defeating the U.S.
