KARACHI: Eid-al-Adha is being celebrated across Pakistan with religious zeal and fervour. Large congregations of Eid prayers have been held on this occasion whereas the Muslims after Namaz-e-Eid are sacrificing their animals by acting upon the Sunnat of the prophet Ibrahim (Peace Be Upon Him).
Small and large congregations of Eid-al-Adha were held across Pakistan and the religious clerics (Ulemas) put light on this occasion and the Sunnat of the prophet Ibrahim (Peace Be Upon Him). The Ulemas prayed for the security of Pakistan and the nation as well as the unity of Muslim world.
The Muslims after performing Eid prayers are sacrificing their animals in the name of Almighty Allah by acting upon the holy Sunnat of the prophet Ibrahim (Peace Be Upon Him). Tight security arrangements have been made on the occasion of Eid throughout the country.
Strict rules have been formed concerning the collection of animals’ hides. The president of Pakistan, the Prime Minister and other leaders have paid the message of greetings to the nation and asked the nation to consider the importance of the real spirit of sacrifice.
