Karachi: Due to the unrest in Karachi after the killing of MQM (Muttahida Qaumi Movement) sector member Mansoor Mukhtar in PIB Colony on Tuesday (27th March), the schools, colleges and other educational institutions in different areas of the city have been closed.
The students of schools and colleges are returning to their homes as the educational process is suspended in almost every area of metropolitan.
According to the details, due to tension spread across the city the teaching procedures in Karachi University has also been suspended and the students and faculty members are surrounded within the limits of KU Admin Block.
University of Karachi will now remain closed today due to the violence in the city and call of Youm-e-Sog by MQM.
Meanwhile, more than 25 vehicles are set up on fire after serious violence hit the city and MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has demanded the arrest of persons involved in the killing of MQM Sector member.
