Carrots and fish were thought to be the most effective things which increases eye sight and protects us from eye diseases.
But now a new study from Harvard Medical School claims that green vegetables are the best things for our eye sights. The research claims that these vegetables are usually rich in nitrate which decreases the chances of many eye diseases, especially reduces the risk of open angle glaucoma by 30%.

The research was based on observation of 64,000 people who were interviewed about their diet and their eye sights were tested. It was observed that those who consumed more vegetables had 20-30% less chances of being affected by open angle glaucoma.
