For all those students who want to learn driving with all the rules and regulations, driving course has been started in University of Karachi. This initiative has taken by Sardar Yasin Malik Professional Development Center, at University of Karachi, with the collaboration of National Highways and Motorway Police. During this 4 weeks long professional driving course named as “Defensive Driving Course” (DDC), all the students would be teach proper driving and its rules and regulations. This driving course will be conducted by the professionals.
During this 4 week professional driving course, all the students participating in the course will get lesson based on theory in first week, while other 3 weeks are reserved for practical training of driving. Motorways Police will also award certificates to all those students who will successfully complete Defensive Driving Course. Road safety and traffic laws will be taught to all the students of this during the theory sessions.
In an interview to popular English newspaper, Co-Director of Sardar Yasin Professional Development Center, Lt Col (Rtd) Muhammad Ayaz Ansari said that the course would be conducted by the on-field officers of Motorways Police.
Course Fee
Fee of 4 weeks long Defensive Driving Course is Rs. 2500, which is lower than ordinary driving schools in Karachi.
