Karachi: Former Deen of Arts and professor of Mass Communication Department of Federal Urdu University, Karachi Dr. Seemi Naghmana has joined Mass Communication Department of Karachi University. Dr. Seemi Naghmana who is recognized as successful journalist and analyst will give her joining in the coming two days.
Professor Dr. Seemi Naghmana has also honored as first PHD professor who chosen by the selected board of Mass communication Department of Karachi University first ever in the history of university. [junkie-alert style=”white”]]It is important to mention here that Dr. Seemi Naghmana was going to be appointed as Chairperson of Mass Communication Department of Karachi University as she will be approved as Chairperson in the next syndicate.[/junkie-alert]
However, the post of Chairperson of Mass Communication Department got vacant after the resignation of Dr. Tahir Masood as Professor Mehmood Ghaznavi is temporary serving as Chairperson of the department who will retired next year in March. It is to be noted that Professor Mehmood Ghaznavi was also accused by his colleague Dr. Tahir Masood for plagiarism of PH.D thesis after which the matter was disclosed.
It is important to mention that Deen of Islamic Studies Professor Noori, Chemistry Professor Dr. Malik, female professor of Pharmacy and one student of the Karachi University have also faced charges of plagiarism.
