The population of Donkeys and Horses is increasing in Pakistan, but do you know how many donkeys are in Pakistan?
[junkie-alert style=”green”] According to Pakistan Economic Survey 2017-2018 there are 5.3 million donkeys in Pakistan, an increase of 100,000 donkeys. On the other hand the population of horses remained stagnant at 400,000. [/junkie-alert]
The biggest increase was observed in livestock where goat population was increased from 72.2 million to 74.1 million. The overall increase in population was as follows:

Livestock contributed 11.1 % to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and 58.9% to agriculture value in year 2017-2018. The overall gross domestic value of livestock was Rs. 1,377 which was an increase 3.8%.
