Diyar-E-Dil is a new smashing drama serial of Hum TV that is already making waves with its first episode on air last Tuesday. The serial has been written by Farhat Ishtiaq and directed by Haseeb Hasan. Based on a novel, the serial’s first episode revealed a glimpse in the characters of the story with some super performances by the actors in this play. Abid Ali, Sanam Saeed, Mikal Zulfiqar, Maya Ali, Osman Khalid Butt, Behroz Subzwari and Ali Rehman will be playing the lead roles of the story. The story has been picturized among the beautiful landscapes and artistic architectural features of Pakistan. The serial will stand out not just in terms of its storyline and marvelous acting, but the thought put in utilizing the landscapes of Pakistan will also be one of the strong features of this serial.
The story revolves around the family of an orthodox Abid Ali and his two sons with contrasting personalities. Mikal Zulfiqar plays the role of a strong headed elder son, while Ali Rehman will play the role of the younger obedient son. Hareem Farooqi awesomely portrays the character who is in love with her childhood fiancé, while Eshita Mehboob is the uptight rich woman in this story. The teasers showed a disagreement between the father and son that will culminate into a long lasting bitterness. Maya Ali will play the role of Mikal’s daughter, who will bow her head to her father’s wishes and save him from repentance.
Sanam Saeed is back with her stunning performance as Ruhina, who is the love interest of Mikal’s character. She will be a simple traditional girl from an ordinary family with a simple getup. Sanam Saeed revealed in her interview on Tonite with HSY, that she preferred doing the roles of responsible women who are an inspiration for women through their struggle and sacrifice.
Momina Duraid productions have a hit coming there way as this serial has every ingredient to entertain the audience. The first episode was proof enough. Audiences will be waiting for its next episode to be aired on this coming Tuesday at 8PM. So don’t miss it!
