A new research from United States of America (USA) was published in Journal Of American Medical Association which has revealed that deficiency of folic acid may cause hearing loss especially in old age.

In past another research was conducted in Netherland which found that supplement of folic acid reduced the hearing loss, American Academy of Otolaryngology found that folic acids intake reduces the hearing loss by 20%.
To fulfill the daily requirement of folic acid eat fishes, dark colored and green vegetables and liver of chicken. People eat more junk food, fast food, pizzas and are not eating healthy fruits and vegetables.
