Islamabad: Federal Law Minister Farooq H Naik said that Pakistan has decided to end the death sentence and the summary regarding it is in final stage. He expressed this feeling with the United Nation (UN) special representative for Lawyers.
He met him in his office. Farooq H Naik said that new summary would end the death sentence in Pakistan whereas this sentence will remain in the Hudood ordinance. The Federal Minister said due to shortage of judges people have to face some law problems.
He said due to the shortage of Judge many cases are upheld and the jails are filled with prisoners and that’s why the government has decided to increase the number of Judges in the country.
