Each year Dalda Foundation announces scholarship programmes for college students. Recently it revealed Dalda Scholarships 2018-2019 for college students of 1st year.
Dalda aims to provide education opportunity for deserving students to complete their intermediate, graduation and post graduation studies. They believe that financial restrains should not stop student from pursuing his dreams.
How To Apply?
If you are student of first year and want to apply for Dalda Scholarship then follow these steps:
1) Visit Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education of Karachi (BISEK) or Technical Board to get the application form for the scholarship.
2) Or visit the official website to download the.
3) Complete the application form and send it to P.O. BOX. NO. 17654, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Near NIPA Chowrangi.
4) The application form can also be obtained by sending an email to daldascholarships@yahoo.com
Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria for the scholarship is as follows:
1) Applicant must be a Pakistani citizen
2) Applicant should be student of 1st year in BISEK or any other Intermediate Board of Pakistan including Technical Board.
3) The maximum age of applicant on 1st October should not exceed 17.
4) The monthly income of applicant’s father or guardian should not exceed Rs. 20,000
5) House area should not exceed 120 sq ft if the applicant is from city, students from village are exempted from this.
6) Applicant should have passed matriculation exams in 2018.
7) Matric result criteria for Pre Engineering, Pre-Medical, General Science is 80% while for commerce it is 75%
Selection Process:
The selection process for candidates will be based on merit. Those candidates who submitted complete application form and fulfill the minimum criteria will be invited for a written test.
After written test students will be shortlisted for interview along with their parents or guardian. Scholarship will end if student fails to appear in exams or attain required marks.
Due Date:
The last date to apply through Dalda Scholarship Scheme 2018-2019 is 30th October. After due date no application will be considered for the scholarship. So make sure that your duly filled application form reaches the address within due date.
This scholarship is open for students for both male and female students and anyone from across Pakistan can apply for this scholarship.
Students are encouraged to apply from all cities including Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Thatta, Quetta, Gwadar, Turbat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Mardan, Balakot, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and others.
