There are many areas in the world where people live up to 90 years and are also healthy in their old age, these areas are known as blue zones and include areas from countries such as Italy, Greece, Japan and California.
In Italy and Greece the areas consist of villages where people live up to 100 years because of their traditional and healthy life styles. The common things between these were as follows:
1) They drank daily required 8 glass of water, it was also observed that their water which came from near rivers and wells were clean.
2) They ate more vegetables and less beef and chicken. They were dependent on fresh vegetables, fish and mutton.
3) They lived in united families with love and care. They researchers believe that psychological peace is also an important factor in their good health.
4) Their environment is free from pollution, and their mind is free from tension.
