Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi General Secretary Naseem Siddiqui has said that ‘Namoos e Mustafa’ march, scheduled to be held on Sunday, would depict the sentiments of Muslims. He stated that the Western powers particularly the United States and France have dual standards. At one hand they preach for religious harmony and tolerance, while at other hand they were adopting nefarious stance in enmity against Islam. Through blasphemous designs, these powers were boosting religious hatred and hurting feelings of about billion of Muslims across the world.
JI leader welcomed the announcement of celebrating ‘Youm Eshq e Mustafa’ and added that the government should also adopt a strong stance over the issue, official protest should be recorded on international level, while the ambassador of the US should be sent back with a ‘Persona Non Grata’ status.
He appealed Karachiites to participate in the caravan to express their feelings and record their protest against the nefarious conspiracy to provoke sentiments of Muslims. He announced that JI secretary General Liaquat Baloch would lead the rally, scheduled to be taken out from Quaid’s Mausoleum to Tibet center MA Jinnah road at 3 pm.
