A computerized system of land records has been created by the board of revenue Sindh. This service will initially be available in Hyderabad and will later be extended to Karachi and Sukkur. The services will be launched from the \peoples Service Centre, which is located at Shehbaz Building Hyderabad. This service will allow the people to extract computerized land records of any district of Sindh. The centre will also provide excise tax collection facility and other services.
The government is converting majority of its systems to computerized systems in order to speed up the process. This will surely accelerate the various governmental systems and also reduce delays and errors. The land records will be computerized in order to enhance the security of records and provide convenience to the public. The system will eliminate the hassle of interacting with the government personnel, who are known for their impatience and irresponsibility.
The computerization of land records will also reduce corruption from the system by reducing human intervention and thus reducing the dependency of the public of the unlawful demands of the government personnel. The system will hopefully upgrade the service to international standards.
