Karachi: Admissions of first year in different colleges of the city has been successfully completed through Centralized Admission Policy (CAP) for 2018, revealed Directorate of Colleges.
Majority Students of 1st year are now enrolled in 164 government colleges of Karachi from which 79 are for male students while 85 are for female.
In total 98,152 students applied & got admission in colleges through Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admission Program (SECCAP) for year 2018-2019. Last year 90,006 students got admission which means 7,458 more students are enrolled this year.
During the online process students faced multiple technical problems which were later resolved by the Sindh Education Department.
Education Department has established 37 complaint centers for students. If any student is facing any problem during admission, want to change college or has any queries he can contact these complaint centers.
After successful admission classes have been started in different government colleges of Karachi. Any student who failed to get enrolled in any college can still get admission in 20 colleges where admissions are still open.
