Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Amir Muhammad Hussain Mehnati has expressed deep concern over hurdles that deprived masses to enjoy the fruits of the apex judiciary’s decision regarding to prices of compressed natural gas. In a statement on Sunday, he said that reportedly majority of CNG stations remained close illegally in the metropolis, which is condemnable. He demanded of the government to get the judiciary’s verdict implemented in letter and spirit.
Mehnati also urged of the government to get all the CNG stations opened and demanded strict actions against those who were avoiding to obey the ruling of the apex court.
He said that the judiciary had given a ruling as per the aspirations of masses, which triggered a spree of happiness for people and brought discontentment for CNG mafia. He further said that it was matter of great regret and concern that the government was not seemed serious in taking any solid measure against those disobeying the court’s verdict.
Mehnati said that citizens were facing acute problems due to unavailability of CNG. Large lines of vehicles were seemed outside the CNG stations, while CNG is not available on the notified prices. He urged government to resolve the issue so as to remove the grievances of people.
