Since I am born, I have been observing people dreaming of a well settled life in West particularly U.K. and Canada. Youngsters around us are fanatic about settling in West. Parents are also crazy about sending their kids abroad. We see that everybody around is praising Western life style. Some people idealize it to the extent that they say that Western people possess qualities and virtues which should be possessed by Muslims.
I have always disagreed with this opinion. 30 minutes of surfing can disclose the reality. From 2008 to 2009 there were 888000 assaults, 50000 sexual offences, 80000 cases of robbery and 150000 vehicle thefts. 1,158,957 violent crimes were reported in UK in 2009. School girls in UK and USA carry rape alarms with themselves. Same sex marriage is a common practice. Having physical relationship with ones blood relative is considered to be “normal”. In fact it’s a symbol of modernism.
After London riots this year, it has been established that Western nations aren’t civilized at all. The truth is evident that democracy and capitalism only result in bringing uncivilized nations irrespective of their being Eastern or Western. This is because democracy is based on the concept of “freedom”. Democracy assumes that individuals in a society are free to live as they will. It is natural that the financially dominant and influential will impose his desires and wills on weak people, which show their frustration by committing crimes and assaults. This results in an unbalanced society which leads to frustration and chaos.
History says it loud that man always exploits unlimited freedom granted to him. The best time history has witnessed was when whole mankind was ruled under Islamic system, which limits individuals within the boundaries defined by the creator, who is indeed most wise. The world needs to be ruled by Islam once again.
