Females have been heard saying that “I smoke because I don’t want to get fat” but in reality cigarettes does not help in losing weight and it’s only a myth.
In reality this was a lie which was promoted by cigarette companies to increase the numbers of female smokers after facing tough competition in men cigarette market.
While it is true that people gain some weight after quitting smoking but weight gain is not because they stopped smoking rather when people stop smoking they search for something to fill the gap and that’s where they find food.
Additionally the bad effects of smoking are all scientifically proven and cannot and should not be avoided because of some myths. Smoking is responsible for 13 different types of cancer and each year kills 6 million people around the globe.
Doctors believe it is foolish to ignore the 6 million deaths caused by cigarettes for a myth which has no reality.
