Punjab Food Authority (PFA) is working day and night for ensuring sale of only hygienic food and products in Pakistan’s biggest province.
Recently it sealed and fined a milk manufacturing factory and company in the industrial city Sheikhupura. Premier industries was fined Rs 500,000 because of the unhygienic milk production.

Recently Supreme Court also fined major milk producing companies for using unhealthy and dangerous chemical in milk production. Haleeb was declared unfit for human consumption and many other brands were also asked to meet the ISO standards.
PFA and Supreme Court also took action against oil industry and listed and advertised the names of cooking oil products which are being sold in market but failed to maintain the basic health requirements.
