On Tuesday Syrian town of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib faced a tragedy, it was another chemical attack which killed at least 72 people and injured more than 550.
The town is near a strategically location between Idlib and Hama which government forces were trying to retake from last 3 years but haven’t succeeded. After the chemical attack the hospitals were attacked by the Syrian or Russian air force. Bashar al Assad denies the allegation.
Health workers believe that the death toll will continue to rise as many of the 550 injured are in serious condition.

What is a chemical attack?
Chemical attack is an attack in which chemical agents like sarin which is odorless and spreads to a wide area after the attack. It kills people within minutes by suffocating the lungs.
It is also called nerve agent because it attacks the nervous system and the victim loses the ability of controlling muscles for breathing.
Previous Chemical Attack:
It was not the first chemical weapon attack by Syrian government rather on many occasions they used the same nerve agent against civilian population. The latest attack was carried out just few days ago while the deadliest was in 2013 at outskirts of Syria (Ghouta) which killed more than 322 people and injured 2,000.
International Reaction
Syrian attack received international condemnation from around the world. Global leaders such as Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan, French President Francois Hollande, British Prime Minister Theresa May and United Nations spoke against the brutality of Syrian Regime.
