Italian government is facing severe problems because of the financial crisis in which it has been from many years. The government wants to increase the tourism but have failed to do so.
But now Italian government came up with a new idea to handover historical villages and palaces to people and organizations which are willing to maintain and convert them into tourist destinations.
This is a good opportunity for investors who will get free Historical Palaces and will only have to invest on the renovation and maintenance.
The new proposal aims to handover these empty villages and locations for free of cost. Those who will be awarded these places will be responsible to maintain them and provide facilities for tourists so that they may visit these distant places.
Previously Italian mayor also proposed to give $2,100 to those who will settle in his town because the tow was becoming a ghost town. After the financial crisis more and more people are leaving villages, towns and small cities to settle in big cities with greater employment opportunities.
