The Eurail is the train pass that allow pass holder to travel different counties of Europe. The Eurail was launched by European rail carriers and shipping companies in 1959.
There are three types of Eurail pass available
- Global Pass:
The Global Pass allows a passenger to visit 28 countries throughout Europe, and visit them in any desired order. - Select Pass:
The Select Pass provides the flexibility to plan a trip and passengers can choose from 2, 3 or 4 bordering countries. - One Country Pass:
This pass is for exploring a single country or area of Europe.

The Eurail offers 35% discounts for the youth aged 12 to 25 and for the children aged less than 12 the traveling is free. The Group (family) discount facility is also available that provide about 15% discount for the group of 2 to 5 people.
The Eurail pass (ticket) allow access to Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey.
The non-European residents are eligible to have the Eurail pass (Euro Rail). The Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, and Moldova nationals are also not eligible for this service.

After buying the Eurail pass your plans change and you cancel your pass then Eurail will provide 85% refund. A person can buy Eurail passes at European train stations, but this is more expensive than ordering online (usually up to 20% higher).
