Britain Banned India’s Most Wanted Dawood Ibrahim & Freezed His Assets

British officials decided to freeze assets of India’s most wanted underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim. His name has been included in the list of those people who are facing financial sanctions.  Under these conditions, his assets will be frozen in the United Kingdom and there will no transaction that can be made to other countries.

Dawood Ibrahim is chased by India after the episode of serial bomb blasts in the year 1993 in Mumbai and thus the Indian government has issued international arrest warrants. The first warrant was issued in 2003.

He is the only Indian citizen who has been included in this list, however, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil, Khalistan Tehreek, Sikh Youth Federation and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen groups are also included in the list.

Dawood Ibrahim, was a citizen of India, but India has ended his citizenship. The BBC source said Britain list about him declares him as an Indian citizen but four different permanent addresses of Karachi have been given in the list about him.
