A pharmaceutical industry in Lahore suffered from a boiler explosion and as a consequence fourteen people died at the spot with all building smashed in pieces onto the ground.
The point is why this accident took place at first? Are their any safety measures? Were they implementing standards or not? And what about the blow off valve? Was it working or not? A proper investigation must be made in this regard, but it is difficult to say whether our government will go for that investigation or not.
Some people say that Pakistan Boiler inspector qualification program is not up to the mark, they are implementing the hundred years old methodologies which are almost outdated. Progressed nations are now utilizing ASME (American standard for mechanical engineer) Boiler and pressure vessels standards or other International standards. These are said to be the most reliable ones and are reviewed every three years by technical committees.
Since life is really cheap in Pakistan, furthermore the industrialist framework is to get maximum out of minimum and yet we also know that there were no investigations made for any mishap, accident or other political maneuvered blood bath in various cities, still we need to pressurize the authorities to look into this matter and force them to come up with a proper incident investigation so to avoid such accidental disasters in future.

As per report of investigation there was no boiler installed in the factory. Explosion was due to leakage of LPG cylinders all night when some one ignited the flame. There is stupid trend in our country that all media people promote news without confirmation. when one channel said that boiler exploded all go behind him without confirmation.
