Peshawar: A low intensity bomb blast Monday morning at a security check post in Landikotal, area of Khyber Agency has left two volunteers dead while several others injured, local TV channel reported. According to the details, the blast occurred during a routine check out. The exact reason behind the blast is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, heavy contingents of security personnel along with bomb disposal squad have been rushed at the spot. The police have cordoned off the area in order to initiate the investigation process.
The dead bodies and injured have already been shifted to the hospital for medico legal formalities and first aid to the injured.
