Recently Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered to remove outdoor advertising billboards and signboards from ‘public property’. Supreme Court ordered Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and all the cantonment boards to remove these billboards/hoardings across the city by 30th June.
After this order many on social media started praising this decision but also said that it is almost impossible to implement this decision. They were of the view that it will be great if all the billboard is removed from metropolis city.

Government should also take notice of some billboards which are very vulgar
Nobody has talked about it, but I will. Why are we having a lesbian display so frequently on Lawn billboards? #Khaadi #SanaSafinaz

However billboard mafia is quite strong and billions of rupees is involved in this therefore it in unlikely that concerned department will remove these boarding till 30th June.

In my opinion it looks that few of billboards will be removed i.e. around 10-20%. If this is the case Apex court must take stern action and responsible of these departments (Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and all the cantonment boards) should be ordered to remove is Supreme Court ruling is not implemented.
