Islamabad: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chief would contest as opposing leader in the National Assembly (NA) said Makhdoom Shahabuddin, PPP high official representative in lower Punjab. He announced this at the Multan Press Club while talking to the media where he was flanked by his respective provincial rulers.
According to Shahabuddin, this is a general step to take the PPP Chief to the Presidency seat for the next general elections, expected in the year 2018. Bilawal is set to take to enter the national politics from being an opposition leader to the nation runner.
Bilawal gave speech on Friday and identified himself ready to take over the charge of transcending his family politics.
It is likely that Bilawal would take over the seat of Ayaz Soomro, the former Sindh Law Minister after he leaves his position. The expected elections would win him NA seat from Larkana district NA-204.
He remained behind the curtains, with Asif Zardari the fore runner of the party for the past tenure. However his last speech has expressed his enthusiasm to begin his political career.
