A recent post on Facebook has went viral where a person named Waqas Siddiqui shared his experience of not being allowed to enter at an ‘Elite’ cafe by the name of ‘Cafe Flo’.
Waqas writes on his Facebook post that he wasn’t allowed to enter the cafe not because that he or his friends didn’t have money but because they came to the cafe on bike and were stopped at the gate.
Waqas showing some anger on his post said,
[junkie-alert style=”white”] “This is the height of discrimination, the classification between social classes. You are now judged by your ride. Wow! Just wow.” [/junkie-alert]
People on social media on the other hand started to show their full support for Waqas.
In response to the post being circulating on Facebook, the Cafe Flo on their Facebook page issued a clarification:
“This was a security issue and not discrimination based on ‘class’ as some people have posted. We have welcomed people from all walks of life with no restrictions on dress code and will continue to do so. We will also continue to take the steps necessary to ensure the safety and security of our customers, staff & property.”
