Karachi: Few unidentified robbers stole away cash worth million rupees from a private bank located in Defence Phase-2 shortly before Jumma prayers, police sources informed.
According to the details, dacoits took the benefit from the lack of security as they also took away the weapon from the guard, deployed at the bank.
The culprits fled the scene before the police reached the spot while they have now cordoned off the area and further investigations are underway.
The eyewitnesses say that all the dacoits were on motorbikes and they quickly escape the spot as soon as they did their job before the advent of the police.
It is to mention here that the same bank dacoit incident occurred the previous Friday as well. The robbers robbed around Rs. 250,000 from United Bank Limited, Jackson Market branch shortly after Jumma prayers on July 6, 2012.
