Mumbai: the chief of Shiv Sena, Bal Thackeray has passed away here on Sunday after long illness. He died at his home Matoshree. Hundreds of Shiv Sena members have been reached at Balasaheb home. He was famous as Hindu extremist leader while he was against Pakistan- India friendship. His doctor Jaleel Parkar announced Thackeray’s death news.
Thackeray died at 3:30 PM Indian Standard Time. His health was down since July 2012 when he was admitted In Lilavati Hospital. He was facing pancreas and Lungs disease.
He was born on January 23, 1926 in Pune. Though he started career as cartoonist but later he change his profession. In 1966, he formed Shiv Sena. His party was famous due anti Islamic Sentiments. He openly spoke against Islam and Muslims.
