Mumbai: The daughter of Indian legendary female singer Asha Bhosle commits suicide Monday morning ather residence citing unknown reasons, Indian media reported. According to the report, she shoots herself in the head and died on the spot. She had also tried to commit suicide in 2008 after which she was hospitalized following an adverse reaction to medicines., sources told.
Varsha Bhosle, 56, was going through serious mental pressure over the difficulties in life that might have become the reason behind her suicide. Varsha was born in 1956 and chose Journalism as her profession. She also performed as a Hindi playback singer in Hindi and Marathi movies, and appeared in concerts with melody queen mother.
Varsha got her early education from Hill Grange High School, on Pedder Road, Mumbai, in 1974, with an ISC. She studied Political Science at Elphinstone College, which is affiliated with Bombay University in Mumbai.
