A very tragic incident took place in Sibi yesterday when 17 innocent people burned to death and over 45 others were seriously injured in a Rawalpindi-bound train after a powerful explosion. Eight members of the same Hindu family included in the deceased. A Baloch separatist organisation (United Liberation Army) claimed the responsibility of the bomb blast that was rigged into the washroom of the 9th bogie.
After the incident, all claims to have secured railway tracks by the high-ups including IG Railway police and minister for railway turned out to be wrong. No steps have yet been taken to secure railway tracks, trains and railway stations due to which such a grieved incident occurred. No one knows how many dead bodies we have to collect and for how long!
[junkie-alert style=”white”] The ministers and the government officials are only busy in issuing useless statements whereas their performance seems zero. [/junkie-alert]
If the government didn’t take serious steps to ensure security of the railway tracks, trains and railway stations, people would be losing their dearer ones like yesterday. In this regard, the government has to ensure security and cope with security lapses as well as those found negligent in their duties must be dealt with strictly.
