Ali Khan Tareen is the son of influential PTI leader Jahangir Tareen. He came into media highlights after deciding to contest in by elections of NA-154. This is a brief biography of an emerging politician who belongs to an influential family.
Though currently he is not part of parlimentarian politics but it is expected that soon eh will among leading figures from Lodhran.
Early Life & Family:
Ali Tareen is the only son of Jahangir Tareen, he has three sisters named Seher, Meher & Maryam Tareen. Details of their early life are not known but they were raised in Punjab where their father was based and had multiple businesses including sugar mills.
Education:
He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree from prestigious Oxford University in London. It was the same reason why he didn’t participate in 2018 General Elections.
He aims a comeback to Pakistani politics after completion of his Executive MBA from Oxford University. He is also active is social welfare programmes and has a passion of promoting cricket in South Punjab.
Promoting Cricket:
One of the issues on which Ali Tareen has worked hard is promoting cricket in his native city of Lodhran. He wants to promote cricket in South Punjab and wants a fair representation of the area in the national team.
To achieve this he funds and promotes cricket clubs in the area and also arranges international tours so that the players may learn from experience.
Recently he also took players from Lodhran to participate in LMS World Series which was held in UK.
Social Work:
Ali khan Tareen just like his father has been involved in social work throughout their constituency, it is believed that this is the reason why Tareen family became one of the most influential political family despite entering politics lately.
One of the biggest project is Tareen Education Foundation (TEF) under which 85 schools are working to spread education in Lodhran.

By attending Aurat March in Lahore Ali Tareen indicated that he is a supporter of feminism & women empowerment.

Through social media he also appreciated Malala and was seen watching matches in London along with her.
Engagement & Wedding:
Ali Khan Tareen got engaged with Bisma Ahmad in 2013, there are rumours about their marriage ceremony but no confirmation from Tareen family.
