Two religious group Ahl-i-Hadees and Sunni Tehreek has an old dispute over the administrative control of an area mosque in Landhi. A few months ago both the group moved the high court claiming their right to manage the administration.
However, the high court came up with the verdict in favour of the Ahl-i-Hadees group. After this verdict the group winning the verdict in its favour from the Sindh High Court for the administrative control of the mosque, named Ummul Qura, in Landhi 5½ near Gosht Market opened the seal and started arrangements for some construction work inside the mosque. After this Sunni Tehreek workers also gathered near mosque to stop construction activity.
After heated argument, clash erupted between two groups and as a result a young man was killed and more than 12 people, including a woman, were wounded.
