Admissions for the two year master program in the Muslim Cultures are now available at the Institute of study of Muslim cultures Agha Khan University. This is a unique program that offers a distinctive understanding about the Muslim Civilizations that have developed over eras. Those who are interested should submit their applications before 27th February, 2015. The institute also offers financial assistance to those who require it.
This program has been designed to emphasize the plurality and complexity of the past and the present Muslim cultures by studying them as a part of the global cultures. The program employs tools of social sciences and humanities as a framework for learning. The students will also be taught development studies, economics, political sciences, art, architecture, history, literature, comparative religion and law. In addition, students will need to study Arabic, Persian or Turkish and also take an intense four week language course abroad.
