Karachi: Karachi town Lyari which was particularly famous for producing national heroes who had represented Pakistan in different games and in Olympics as well. Lyari is now known for its criminal grounded values some of the extremist from different part of the country have settled in Lyari and they are now disturbing the peace of Lyari innocent people and Karachi.
Lyari had been in a stage of operations against the criminals since the last week and massive operation was launched by police which ended in no result. Cheel Chowk and and Afshani Gali have been the hub for the extremist and regarded as the most dangerous area of Lyari.
Unfortunately Police put the strong hold in Cheel chowk but fails to enter the Afshani Gali they tried several times but fail again and again. The extremist fired the rocket launcher and mortar shells on police which has damaged many bullet and bomb proof vehicles.
In the end Operation was called off and timeline was given that the operation would be started again with in 48 hours with the help of Rangers but we have seen no Rangers personnel have been operating there. Operation didn’t proof to be a big success for Police officials.
