Afghan Team’s Trip To Benefit Pak-Afghan Cricketers: Rashid Latif

Former Pakistan Captain and Afghanistan Chief Coach Rashid Latif has said that upcoming One-Day series of Pakistan and Afghanistan will benefit both the countries.

“It’s good for Pakistan cricket that a foreign team will be touring in this country after a lapse of two years,”  he said on arrival from Kabul with a 16-member Afghan squad.

He said Afghan team is a fast emerging team and they will prove very tough against Pakistan “A”.

Afghanistan squad: Nowroz Mangal (captain), Muhammad Nabi (vice captain)Asghar Stanikzai, M Shahzad (Wicketkeeper), Karim Sadiq, Noor Ali Zadran, Shapoor Zadran, Samiullah Shinwari, Shabir Noori, Javed Ahmedi, Dawlat Zadran, Nasimullah Khan, Gulbadin Naib, Mirwise Ashraf, Izzatullah and Hamid Hassan. Saqib Faqir is the fielding coach.
