KABUL: The President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai has sent a letter to the Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain, expressing dire need of joint action by Afghanistan and Pakistan against the terrorism and extremism stating these a big threat for present and future of both the neighboring countries, local news channel reported on Thursday.
Afghan President Karzai sternly condemned the attack on 14 years old Malala Yousafzai and other female students in his letter. Karzai declared it an extremely inhumane, shameful and wicked act.
He also prayed for the quick recovery of Malala and other injured female students of Swat affected by the violent incident.
“The evil of terrorism and extremism is a danger for the welfare of our present and future; I hope you, as the chief of MQM, will respond positively to this invitation for a joint and comprehensive action against terrorism and extremism,” Karzai wrote in the letter.
He said the extremists wants to push our young generation to the darkness by attacking the schools of female students in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
