On October 3 Indian Police arrested 3 Muslim citizens from Bihar for raising pro-Pakistani slogans and filed an FIR against 21 persons.
These people are accused of raising pro Pakistani slogans and wearing green t-shirts with PCB logon during Muharram procession in Bettiah which is a situated in Bihar near Nepal border.
After Muharram Procession ended police raided the village from where the procession was started, houses were searched and green t-shirts and shirts with PCB logo were recovered which police alleged belong to those involved in the FIR.
Talking with media Indian Police officer Vivek Kumar Jaiswal said “We have slapped sedition charges and also charged them with trying to breach communal harmony. Raids are on to nab the accused,”
Kashmir Independence movement have been a serious issue for Indian government from 1947 till today where people are demanding a separate state or annexation with Pakistan but now pro-Pakistani slogans have reached other states of Indian.
