Karachi: Popular Pakistani cricketer and T20 captain Shahid Afridi has showed his disappointment on the bad condition of Jinnah Hospital, Karachi. Famous celebrity has visited Jinnah Hospital, Karachi for giving donation to the hospital but during his visit, he found that the condition of the hospital is very poor. Shahid Afridi has visited both the emergency and general wards of Jinnah Hospital to meet the patients and their attendants. The administration of the hospital was also with the famous cricketer during his visit and briefs him the situation of the hospital.
“Really disappointed to see poor health facilities at emrgency wards in Jinnah Hospital Karachi,” Shahid Afridi posted on his social media account.
After visiting the hospital, Shahid Afridi also holds a press conference with the administration of Jinnah Hospital. During his press conference, he told the media that the condition of the hospital is very poor and Sindh Government should take notice on this serious situation. He said that it is the responsibility of the Government to provide better health facilities to the patients. Shahid Afridi had handed over a donation of Rs.2 million for the betterment of Jinnah Hospital, Karachi. He assured the administration to support the hospital by any means in future also.
“I urge Sindh government to wake up and take notice of the problems which hospital management is facing and help the poor people by giving them proper facilities.” Shahid Afridi posted Status.
It is to be noted that Shahid Afridi is also known for his social activities and he is establishing a hospital in his hometown in Kohat.
