KARACHI: The leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rashid Godil has been critically injured in a deadly attack in Karachi whereas his driver has been killed. According to a local newspaper, Rashid Godil shopped in a local super market today in Bahadurabad and when he returned to his car and sat, some motorcyclists shot fires on his car and fled away.
Rashid Godil and his driver got seriously injured in the deadly attack and were rushed to a private hospital where his driver lost his life whereas Rashid Godil was shifted to operation theatre. On the other hand, the hospital’s spokesman has informed that Rashid Godil received 6 bullets which hit jaw, neck and chest however; he is shifted to operation theatre.
According to the newspaper, a five-member team of doctors is busy in operation. According to police evidences from the site have been collected. According to the initial statements of witnesses, 9 accused riding on four bikes fired with 9mm pistols on Rashid Godil.
