Mumbai: Popular Bollywood Actor Salman Khan has thanked Pakistani social activist and philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi to take care of Geeta. According to the Indian media reports, Salman Khan has said that the whole India should be grateful to Abdul Sattar Edhi and his foundation for taking a good care of Indian girl Geeta for several years. He said that the Abdul Sattar Edhi and Edhi Foundation have given an opportunity of life to Geeta by caring for almost 13 years. Salman Khan also said that we should accept this reality that an Indian girl is living a good life in Pakistan.
On the issue of searching for Geeta’s family, Salman Khan said that the Indian Government should find her family and returned her back to home. He said that if her family and India is not able to take more care of Geeta than Pakistan, then it is better for her to stay in Pakistan. Salman Khan also offered Geeta to meet him if she wants, and he would definitely feel pleasure to meet her.
It is to be noted that Salman Khan has portrayed a fictional story of Pakistani girl in his film “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, who left in India while coming to Pakistan with her mother and the original story of Indian girl Geeta has got popularity after this film.
