WhatsApp has finally launched their voice calling system that will allow users to make voice calls to the numbers added on their WhatsApp list. The feature was initially launched for a group of beta testers on Android phones who would invite other users into the group. This feature is now available for access for all the users. The users need to update their app to the latest version from the WhatsApp website, play store or the appstore.
If you already have an updated version of WhatsApp, then you just need to ask the person added on your list to call you. These are those contacts who already have a calling feature. The WhatsApp calling feature will be enables on your Smart Phones once you receive a call from your contact. As the feature is relatively new, there might be problems in calling. As this feature has been activated for each user on the WhatsApp servers, the servers may be down and the users may have to wait until they get back up again.[junkie-alert style=”white”]Those contacts who already have a calling feature need to call you to activate the feature on your phone [/junkie-alert]
If the calling feature is not available to any of your contacts, then you can ask someone from the WhatsApp’s official Google+page to help you activate the feature. Recently, a fake message has been circulated on the social media websites that provides a link for the users to activate their WhatsApp calling feature. Beware of such scams, as these messages contain malware.
