ISLAMABAD: The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Asim Bajwa has said that today’s day is the blackest day in the history of Pakistan, 132 children and 9 staff members of Army Public School in Peshawar have been martyred in the attack made by the banned outfit, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), adding that 124 people including 121 children, 3 staff members of Army Public School have also been seriously injured. He has further said that 7 soldiers including 2 Special Service Group (SSG) officers have also been injured during the action against TTP terrorists whereas the pictures of the killed terrorists have been issued to the media.
DG ISPR Asim Saleem Bajwa, during his press conference concerning the martyrdom of 141 people in Army Public School, Peshawar, has announced that the operation against TTP terrorists in the school has been completed. He added that one TTP terrorist was killed at the exit door of Auditorium during the SSG operation and remaining 6 terrorists were killed in the administration block. He elaborated that SSG killed 3 terrorists through the windows whereas SSG killed the remaining 3 terrorists by entering the block. He added that all the seven terrorists were wearing suicide jackets.
DG ISPR said that the children were brutally killed, adding that we came to know who attacked the school and who was directing them. He added that we equally shared sorrows of the parents who lost their children. He said that these brutes are the enemies of humanity, Pakistan and the Muslims, adding that no citizens or parties of Pakistan could own these brutes as their children, if someone was calling the terrorists their children, parliament, nation and we all would decide.
