Karachi: Professor Hafiz Saeed, head of Jamat-ud-Dawah Pakistan, has said that in order to divert the masses from Islamic teachings, the West has launched a renewed propaganda against Islamic Madrassas, which are home to innumerable Islamic scholars who serve as torch-bearers. Addressing a “Khatm-e-Bukhari” seminar at Jamia Darasat Al-Islamiyah in Karachi, Prof. Hafiz Saeed urged PM Nawaz Sharif to not to forget the sentiments of oppressed Kashmiris and views of Pakistani public during his visit to India
Also, PM Nawaz Sharif has the responsibility to bring up “Nehru-Liaqat” agreement through which protection of Muslim rights in India may be guaranteed. Various other Islamic scholars and JuD representatives also addressed the seminar.
Prof. Hafiz Saeed said that Imam Bukhari’s efforts for Islam and Muslims cannot be underestimated. He also stressed the importance of unity and collective struggle of Pakistani Muslims to ensure Pakistan’s defense. Narendra Modi’s past is filled with atrocities against Muslims in India, which casts doubt as to his future agenda.
Prof. Abdur Rahman Makki of JuD said that Islamic Madrassas are breeding grounds for the future of Islam and Muslim world. The Madrassa students have huge responsibility on their shoulders to be torch-bearers and role-models for other Muslims.
