Karachi: As the general elections 2013 reaching closer in Pakistan, the religious group Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) announced to start its election campaign on the social media. The party has presented his plan about how they will move on to promote their manifesto, agenda and plans among the masses on social media.
For this purpose, they are going to promote the JI manifesto in the first phase of election campaign. For twitter, they will be using #JIManifesto and on face book they will spread the posters and the pictures regarding JI plans.
The JI page owners on Facebook and Twitter will share one point each day from the JI manifesto in Urdu language that would be translated in regional languages and English also. They have insisted to keep the campaign pro active and not reactive.
Their first point posted today on Facebook was, ‘the dependency of Pakistani economy on World Bank and other foreign loans would be ended and in order to avail the resources, the government will efficiently use the resources of Pakistanis living in the country or abroad.’
