Dubai: Australia beat Pakistan by 94 runs in the third T20 international of the series. Pakistan was looking to wrap up the three match series with a win over Aussies, but the batting order of green shirts failed to chase the total nevertheless Pakistan won the series by 2-1.
Pakistan won the toss and invited Australia to bat first, Australian openers David Warner and Shane Watson took an aggressive start and hit some big boundaries during the power play. The two Ws Warner and Watson made a 111-run record opening stand which is the highest for Australia. Saeed Ajmal again created problems for Australian batsmen at the end which restricted them to 168/7 after 20 overs.
Pakistan opening stand and middle order suffered a huge failure against the Australian bowling attack. Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc were pick of the bowlers as both took 3 wickets each.
