Lahore: The local leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has turned down every possibility of making any electoral alliance with Sheikh Rasheed’s Awami Muslim League in the upcoming elections, Private TV Channel reported Wednesday.
The PML-N leaders have also decided not to take Sheikh Rasheed in the party and recommend him to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. They categorically rejects the option of shaking hands with the known Rawalpindi leader.
This decision was taken today during party leadership meeting in Lahore which also discussed core issues including power crisis, protests and demonstration going on in the province, strategy for the forthcoming elections and few more.
