Rawalpindi: Former Pakistan Speedster Shoaib Akhtar has turned down the possibility of making a come back in the International Cricket, following the overflowing news reports regarding his return in T20 matches, sources informed.
Earlier yesterday, it was learnt that Rawalpindi Express will likely announce his return in International cricket in few days.
However, the recent comment from the world’s fastest bowler has shattered the hopes and wave of happiness among his lovers and followers has faded away at a lightning speed.
“Shoaib Akhtar wanted to make his return in the International arena but doctors suggested him not to return to Cricket field owing fitness concerns”, sources told.
The fast bowler announced to quit international cricket during World Cup 2011 and made his international debut in 1997. He took 178 wickets in 46 Tests, the last was snatched against India at Bangalore in 2007.
