Islamabad: Ex Member National Assembly Jamat-e-Islami Parvez Masih have gone missing and a case has been registered at the West Cantonment Police Station following complaint by his family.
The family said the former MNA elected on the ticket of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal in the 2002 general election has been missing for the last three days. According to a private TV channel, JI have also confirmed the news of kidnapping of its member.
The family told the police that he left the University Town for Peshawar Cantonment but did not reach home. Wife of the missing lawmaker said that before approaching the police they waited for a couple of days hoping that Pervez Masih may return home.
A senior police officer confirming the abduction of the former MNA said he was kidnapped over some financial dispute that he had developed during his construction business.
